Housing Fair of Finland, Tuusula (Finland)
The Housing Fair was first held in 1970 in Tuusula, Lahelanrinte.
In 2020 the Housing Fair celebrated its 50th anniversary. In the aera of the exhibition, real houses have been built following the ongoing and future trends in building and interior design.
Once completed, Rykmentinpuisto will be a residential area of approximately 15,000 inhabitants.
These events have been remembered, not least because of their enormous popularity, but also because of the new residential areas built in Tuusula.
Housing Fairs are set up in actual newly built residential areas, where homes with fully completed interior designs are on display for the audience to view.
The houses are built for families who move in and live there after the fair. In Tuusula, Housing Fair has taken a look at the future of housing through 41 houses. The theme is the diverse art of living in a future urban village.
A Terratinta House was showcased with different materials in different rooms: a mix and match of Terratinta Ceramiche, Ceramica Magica and Sartoria’s collections. Vintage and modern, colors and neutral shades were mingled to form a perfect housing proposal where all the souls of Terratinta Group’s collections can be seen at their best.
