With Reed, Sartoria continues the exploration of three-dimensional surfaces begun with Plinth.
While the latter was conceived through subtraction, Reed evolves its language through six rounded recesses that create a visual and tactile rhythm, transforming the perception of light.
Inspired by natural reeds, the project translates repetition into an essential modularity. Reactive glazes, subtle surface variations, and a delicate crackled effect enhance the material’s depth. In this way, three-dimensionality becomes a tool for emphasizing depth, reflections, and ever-changing chromatic vibrations.
