Photovoltaic system now operative!

With the installation of the photovoltaic system on the roof of the company headquarters, Terratinta Group can now start generating clean and sustainable energy with the goal of becoming self-sufficient in electricity production.

The start-up of this plant is an important milestone for the growth of in-house renewable energy. For Terratinta Group, it is another fundamental step on the path to reducing emissions, clearly linked to our decision to become a Benefit Company first, amending our Articles of Association and declaring an ongoing commitment to the future of environmental sustainability.

The installation of the photovoltaic panels is in addition to all the actions the Company have been carrying out for some time to protect the environment, starting with the elimination of the use of plastic, the choice of recyclable packaging materials, the use of electric cars for the company fleet and electric vehicles for our warehouse, the drastic reduction of paper printouts, and the choice of suppliers who share with us this attention to the environment.
